Frequently asked questions about our streaming service.

How does streaming work?+
After purchasing or renting a film, you can stream it directly in your browser. No app or download required β€” just click "Watch" and the film starts playing. Rentals and purchases can be found in "My Library".
What's the difference between buying and renting?+
Buy: Lifetime streaming access β€” watch the film as often as you like, forever. Renting gives you 48 hours of streaming access from the moment of purchase until it expires.
Which devices are supported?+
You can watch on any device with a modern web browser: desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. We also support Chromecast and AirPlay for streaming to your TV.
Do I need an account?+
Yes β€” creating a free account lets you manage all your purchases and rentals in one place and access your library from any device.
Which payment methods are accepted?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods through our secure payment provider Stripe.
In which currencies can I pay?+
We offer pricing in USD and EUR. Your currency is automatically detected based on your location, but you can change it anytime using the currency selector.
What languages are the films available in?+
All films are in English, with some also available in German and French. Each film's available language versions are shown on the homepage and detail page with a red ribbon marking the alternate language versions.
Can I gift a film to someone?+
Yes! On any film page, click the "Gift" button. Enter the recipient's email address, their name, and an optional personal message. After payment, the recipient receives an email with a unique gift code to redeem their film.
I received a gift code. How do I redeem it?+
Click the "Redeem Gift" link in your email or go to the Redeem page on our website. Enter your gift code (format: SA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), sign in or create a free account, and the film will be added to your library instantly. Gift codes expire after one year if not redeemed.
Are Closed Captions available?+
Some films offer closed captions. When closed captions are available, a CC button appears in the video player β€” click the button to turn them on. We're continuously adding more subtitle options.
Can I resume watching where I left off?+
Yes! Your viewing progress is saved automatically. When you return to a film, it will resume from where you stopped. You can see your progress on your library page, where the button changes from "Watch" to "Continue".
How can I rate or review a film?+
After watching at least 70% of a film, a "Write a Review" option appears on the film's detail page. You can give a 1-5 star rating and optionally write a text review. Your review is published immediately and visible to other visitors.
I have a problem with playback. What should I do?+
Try refreshing the page or using a different browser. Make sure your internet connection is stable. If the problem persists, contact us at support@screenaddiction.com with your browser, device, and a description of the issue.
